Will they, too?
I saw a little child,
dozing by the morning light;
The enlightenment had never passed from those books, alas!
The nascent minds they carry
forget sewing dreams; they marry, and float, and become synonymous
with floating.
Tumbled knowingly,
crushed unknowingly, they forget once more,
just beside the door - the finger that shows the way
to be obeyed from the next day.
After all, bosoms of phosphoresce!
Let them glow.
Let them grow, above the tallest Alpine.
Bet them
To free them to see the brightest sunshine.
How one creates in a cage dark,
then darkness softens, and light greets his footmark
upon the dewy lands.
He walks off.
It hurts, he shivers, though all the time,
like a monotonous nursery rhyme, the sun shines, timidly,
and he finds – the horizon, ultimately.
Will they, too?
Pretty good. :)
